Knight of Wands

Description: As with all Knights in the tarot, there is a duality to the meaning of this card. The energy present should be called into question to determine whether it is a help or a hindrance. He can represent a person, circumstance, or the self. On one hand, he is full of vitality. He's daring, and willing to go all out. He's courageous, passionate, sexy, and always the charmer. He doesn't lack any confidence, and is adventurous through and through. On the other hand, the Knight is too sure of himself, cocky. He can be superficial and lack commitment. He's reckless, irresponsible, and is often in hot water due to a fiery temper. In the reverse position, the latter qualities are far more prevalent. He can represent a truly detrimental person or situation. It's important to stop and think about what actions are being taken. Involvement with a personality of this nature will lead to disaster.
